Fundraising Campaign for Pencils of Promise

I can hardly believe the holiday’s are already upon on us.  So far, I’ve managed to avoid Black Friday (didn’t do one bit of shopping), but I did participate in Small Business Saturday by visiting a super cute coffee shop in the Hamptons while on a short family vacation. I sadly didn’t get to participate near enough in Cyber Monday (I was traveling and didn’t want to pay for an unstable Wi-Fi connection onboard the plane).  But, #GivingTuesday – I am not going to miss a moment of!

Never heard of it?  Me neither, until this year.  What is #GivingTuesday?  It’s technically the fifth day of the holiday shopping season following Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday. Hosted by 92nd Street Y and the United Nations Foundation, any nonprofit or cause can fundraise on #GivingTuesday.

I’m so proud to announce that ttcInnovations will be launching it’s fundraising campaign for Pencils of Promise today on #GivingTuesday! Our goal is to raise $1,000.00 for this amazing organization.  Pencils of Promise (PoP) believes every child should have access to quality education. We create schools, programs, and global communities around the common goal of education for all. PoP has broken ground on more than 200 schools and delivered over 15 million educational hours to children around the world.

I was introduced to Adam Braun, founder of Pencils of Promise at the 2014 CLO Symposium in Carlsbad, CA.  He was one of the keynote speakers.  His address has inspired me to use #GivingTuesday as an opportunity to launch ttcInnovations to raise money for this inspiring foundation.

Please take this opportunity to join ttcInnovations in our goal to raise $1000.00 before March 31, 2015.  For each dollar donated by a ttcInnovator, I will offer a direct match.  With your help, we can achieve this goal!
