Lead Instructional Designer

This contract role is on point to discern the client’s desired outcomes and target audiences at the onset of every initiative. The Lead ID ensures the project vision is clear so he/she can provide guidance and best practices to the entire Instructional Design team working on the project. The Lead ID provides oversight of the content of all project design and development resources and liaises between the client and the ttc development team for all content related changes or issues.

The ideal candidate has a passion for designing effective instructional materials and can see the bigger picture, attend to details at the same time and effective communicate both to a team.

Position Responsibilities

  • Works closely with project manager to organize, plan and execute project tasks and deliverables
  • Quickly grasp and internalize project key goals and objectives to drive the overall vision and outcomes for the internal project team and the client
  • Oversees the process to determine and recommend appropriate solution(s) to address client needs
  • Support the team (instructional designers, project managers, others) in managing the customer and in ensuring the project deliverables and customer success criteria are being achieved
  • Oversee instructional design integrity by setting and monitoring standards, processes, tools/templates, and guidance
  • Develop strategic client relations with client partners to executive level personnel
  • Identify personality traits, preferences and working style for each client partner and adapts engagement style, interactions and communication style to build solid, trusting relationships quickly that allows effective influence
  • Strategically evaluates project for potential risks and issues and identifies win/win resolution for client and internal resources
  • Eliminates roadblocks and effectively resolves issues
  • Acts as main client point of contact for content related issues
  • Oversees the quality check process for all deliverables (instructional integrity, client style guidelines and writing standards)
  • Communicate with, coach, motivate and influence contract project team members to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work
  • Consult with client on current performance issues and performance needed to meet business goals
  • Assume responsibility for the project’s content direction, goals and overall success

Instructional Reviewer

This role is a virtual contract position providing detailed review and consultation on learning development solutions that bridge the gap between business needs and employee performance. This consultant will be involved in reviewing deliverables created by ttcInnovators to ensure they are meeting the requirements of the detail design document outlined and that they are instructionally sound and consistent. They will also ensure that the documents are creative, innovative and are created at a level of superior quality.

Position Responsibilities

  • Review learning deliverables to ensure that they are:
    • In accordance with the Detail Design Document (DDD) provided
    • Instructionally sound
    • Consistent
    • Creative or innovative (or have creative and innovative elements)
    • Superior in Quality
